To become successful in an e-commerce business or actually any business requires a lot of work and some days it feels like you wont see the fruits of your labor.
This is completely normal. Just hang in there!
I came out of business convention with a newfound respect for hard work and perseverance.
1. Get organized:
Organizing your office and workspace will help you get much of what you need done. You will have a place to place all of your files, an overview of all the information you have on file, and it will help you clarify and organize all of your materials. This will improve the efficiency with which you work. The organization will also help you to get things done faster.
2. Set up your schedule:
Your schedule will be much clearer if you have an organized workspace. Make note of all of your appointments, follow-ups, and other meetings before they take place, and keep them all up to date at the end of the day. Don’t forget to ask for follow up on other things from your team or contractors as well.
3. Plan your days:
Don’t let your schedule get in the way of your ability to plan your days. Use this time to get clear on your assignments and how you’ll do them. Make sure your team knows if they will be doing specific tasks that need to be done on a given day, and who they will be doing them with. If you know ahead of time that you will be working with a certain contractor on a particular assignment, you can even ask them to be prepared to do their part at the beginning of the day. If you find yourself being distracted all of the time, make sure you are using other methods of reminding yourself that you need to be working on your project.
I hope that these 3 suggestions will help you get more accomplished and get home safely.
